I had the pleasure of working closely with Amanda during her tenure as a Senior Strategist at the New York Times. I truly cannot say enough good things about her! Amanda is a talented creative and consummate professional who isn't afraid to think outside of the box and go above and beyond in order to produce quality work. She always is able to manage a broad range of clients and categories and has the ability to seamlessly jump between verticals and craft beautiful content without ever missing a beat, all while keeping brand goals/objectives front and center to ensure success for her clients. Amanda is easily one of the smartest people I've had the opportunity to work with, and her ability to bring stories to life is truly second to none. Finally, Amanda simply brings a wonderful and positive energy into any environment she's part of - I truly hope we get the opportunity to work together again in the future!

Amanda is a creative thinker, strategic planner, compassionate leader, and supremely talented writer and editor. And she can juggle her multitude of skills while keeping her eyes on timelines and budgets. In our time working together, I watched her seamlessly jump from client to client, concepting, creating, and overseeing the production of content on a wide range of topics to appear on different and multiple platforms – often in the same day. She knows how to take an idea and turn it into an effective story (or stories), helping build brand equity and drive affinity and conversion along the way. But my favorite thing about Amanda is how she cultivated an open, honest, and positive culture among her direct reports. I always felt supported with her in the lead. Honestly, I would jump at the chance to work with her again. Between you and me, I've tried.

I’ve truly enjoyed working with Amanda over the last few years. It’s been mostly from afar (I’m based in Atlanta and Amanda is in Chicago) but I have learned so much from her poise, grace, creativity, and strategic mind. I truly admire how she approaches work and the natural leadership she brings to the table. I can only hope to have gleaned some of that from working alongside her.

Amanda did an excellent job with our product descriptions and was always a head of schedule. Her writing is skilled, concise and exactly what we needed. I even had to add a few more products than originally anticipated and Amanda did it without any hesitation or problem. This project also required a bit more HTML skills than I thought but Amanda handled everything very professionally.

Amanda participated in the DJMC (Disability Justice Mentoring Collective) program at Access Living, a Center for Independent Living in Chicago. DJMC is an award-winning youth mentoring program that provides a unique opportunity for youth with disabilities, ages 12 to 24, to receive guidance and support from a mentor who cares about disability justice. During her time as a youth mentor, I came to learn that Amanda is a great leader with excellent communication skills. She was always easy to get a hold of and did things quickly. She was very present and engaged during our group meetings and even attended the Disability Pride parade. She asked great questions and always sought to improve her skills as a mentor. She encouraged and engaged with other youth at the DJMC meetings. She was well-liked and looked up to by the youth, her peer mentors, and staff. Amanda is an ideal role model and is always consistent.
